Federal Student Aid
There are a wide variety of options available to help you attend University. You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using D'Youville University's Federal School Code: 002712. This is necessary to determine your eligibility for all grants, scholarships, and loan funding.
D'Youville Veteran Assistance Scholarship
The D鈥橸ouville Veterans Assistance Scholarship and Veteran Dependents Scholarship are both institutional aid that all eligible recipients qualified will receive on top of any other institutional grants or scholarships they have qualified for said aid year.

The Yellow Ribbon Program allows institutions of higher learning such as D'Youville to voluntarily enter into an agreement with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to fund tuition expenses and fees that exceed the annual cap established by Congress.

Apply to the VA
Submit your education benefits application to the VA. Chapter 31 applicants follow the Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) instructions instead.

Send us your confirmation
Screenshot your VA Form 22-1990 or 22-5490 confirmation and email it to veterans@dyu.edu.

Share your Certificate of Eligibility
When your COE arrives, email a copy or bring it to the Veteran Services Office in KAB 208 for processing.

The Veterans and Dependents Application Form is our initial institutional agreement. Then follow the New Veterans-Dependents Checklist.
