Assistant Dean of D’Youville Pharmacy Elected President of Council of Health-system Pharmacists

Buffalo, New York – May 04, 2017 – Dr. Christopher J. Jadoch, assistant dean of the D’Youville College Pharmacy Department, was elected president of the at their annual assembly at the Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing, N.Y.

The organization represents New York State pharmacists who practice in ambulatory, long-term, managed, home, and acute care settings. There are approximately 2200 members, along with a well-established network of leaders serving the board of directors, committees, and chapter offices in the nine local chapters in New York State.

Amy Wojciechowski, clinical assistant professor in the D’Youville Pharmacy Department, received the New Practitioner of the Year Award in Recognition of Leadership, Vision and Continuous Contribution of Pharmacy at the assembly.

Jadoch joined D’Youville in 2011 as an assistant professor. Previously he was the director of pharmacy at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston.

He is a graduate of the State University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy, and earned his law degree at UB. He completed the School of Management and Pharmacy Management certificate program at the university and the Executive Management Program for Pharmacy Leaders at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Wojciechowski is a graduate of the State University at Buffalo and earned her master’s degree in chemistry and chemical biology from Harvard University. Her doctorate in pharmacy is from UB. She is a board certified critical care pharmacist and pharmacotherapy specialist with added qualification in infectious diseases.

Dr. Wojciechowski is a member of Rho Chi Honor Society, Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, and the Golden Key International Honor Society. She was selected as D’Youville Faculty Preceptor of the Year in 2016.
