Re-encounter Israel: A Journey of Hope

Nov 30-Dec 8, 2026

海角原创鈥檚 Re-Encounter Israel: A Journey of Hope offers our community the opportunity to engage Israel thoughtfully, honestly, and deeply during a pivotal moment in its history. Traveling together from November 30-December 8, this journey will explore the complexity, beauty, diversity, and humanity of Israel through conversations, encounters, learning, and shared experiences.

This will not be a traditional first-time Israel trip focused on major tourist sites. Rather, this journey is designed primarily for returning travelers seeking a deeper understanding of where Israel and Israelis are today in the aftermath of October 7 and amid the ongoing realities shaping Israeli society. Together, we will explore how individuals and communities across Israel are responding to trauma, uncertainty, political tension, resilience, and hope for the future.

Our trip will reflect the diversity of our congregation and approach every encounter with intellectual honesty and 鈥渆yes-wide-open鈥 curiosity. Through firsthand conversations, immersive experiences, and behind-the-scenes access, we will engage with a broad spectrum of voices and perspectives across Israeli society. This journey is intended not to reinforce assumptions, but to deepen understanding and encourage thoughtful reflection about the realities facing Israel and the Jewish people at this moment.

While open to all, this experience is especially geared toward those who have previously traveled to Israel. We hope participants will return home with a more nuanced, informed, and personal connection to the country, its people, and the questions shaping its future.

If you have questions or would like additional information, please contact Rabbi Saxe or Rabbi Tasman.

We would be honored to have you join us for this meaningful journey.
